Rooted in Laos, inspired by Southeast Asia

Khac's Kitchen is a family-owned Lao dessert shop and takeout kitchen in Haltom City, Texas, founded by Khac with a simple goal: to share the flavors she grew up loving in Vientiane, Laos, and the culinary influences of neighboring Southeast Asian countries.

After immigrating to the United States in the 1980s, Khac spent years recreating the traditional desserts, snacks, and drinks that reminded her of home. What began as cooking for family and friends eventually grew into Khac's Kitchen in 2019, bringing a little taste of Laos to the DFW community.

Today, Khac runs the kitchen alongside her son Eric and Aunt Suay, with the rest of the family lending a hand whenever they can. Together, we bring you traditional Southeast Asian sweets, handcrafted drinks, creative baked treats, and savory favorites inspired by our Lao roots and the flavors we love.

Beyond our storefront, we also share our food through wholesale partnerships across North Texas and catering for celebrations, gatherings, and special occasions.
